Something You Need to Know About Tidal and Plex
* Tidal HiFi Plus subscribers don't have access to Master Quality Audio, Dolby Atmos, or Sony 360 Reality Audio music when played via Plex app.
* The Download feature and Offline Mode are not available on Plex mobile apps.
* TIDAL family plans aren't compatible with Plex.
* You cannot purchase music from TIDAL through Plex. To do that, you need to go to Tidal official website, or Tidal Music app.
How to Use Tidal Music on Plex App?
Step 1. Download the Plex media server for Windows or Mac computer.
Step 2. Launch the Plex app, open the TIDAL transfer page on the Plex site.
Step 3. Choose one of the "Tidal HiFi" or "Tidal HiFi Plus" option on the bottom page.
Step 4. Login to your TIDAL account. It will then transfer your subscription for billing and management through Plex.
Tips: If you are new to Tidal, you will get Tidal HiFi free trial for 1 month. You can start a new account on the Tidal site.
Tidal HiFi users can easily enable Tidal on Plex. But what if Tidal doesn't work, or Tidal not showing up in Plex? On the other hand, TIDAL does not currently offer "Family" plans via Plex media server. To make matter worse, you are not allowed to download Tidal music to Plex mobile apps. But sometimes you don't always have a WiFi or Internet connection.
